Every line is a layer

The pattern is the Framework drawn from the outside in. Each element below belongs to one layer of the stack. Tap a card to read that layer in full.

Three outer circles
The three grounds a pattern can be read against. The same archetype does not mean the same thing in all three.
L3 · The 12 Archetypes
Twelve spokes
The archetype wheel, three figures to each Selector domain. Your birth opens one domain; your name seats one of its three figures. Worn in your light, that seat is your True Name, one of 108. The pattern draws the whole wheel; the Soul Map names your seat.

Four gates
The four domains experience is sorted into: Physics, Metaphysical, Relational, Temporal. One per quadrant of the wheel.

The woven rings
Your full birth name, reduced. Their number is your capacity; their density, the equipment you arrived with.

The inner star
Your birth date, reduced. Its points count the road you were given to walk. Master numbers 22 and 33 layer the star.
L5 · Color Codex
Your light
Not the Road alone. Road and Vessel summed and reduced together give the Radiant Number, and the Radiant Number picks one of nine tiers. That tier is the only palette the pattern is allowed to use. Master numbers (11, 22, 33) are a tint, not a tier: their reduced light pulled toward white, Moonsilvered, with the master ring. A master on the Road or the Vessel carries Moonsilver too: a halo around the spark, or the two extra rings.

Shadow breaks
Debts 13, 14, 16 and 19, checked on the Road and the Vessel only. A Road debt breaks a realm circle: something met. A Vessel debt knots a ring: something held. One mark per debt, drawn in shade and never in a tier's hue (DL-015). The knot sits in a domain sector and stops there (DL-010).

Debt is drawn in shadow

Amber belongs to Ember and Gold Vein, so a debt drawn in amber vanished on those souls. Debt now renders as shade: an ash mark in the line modes, a gap in the light in Aura. One mark per debt. No tier owns the shade, so it reads on all nine. The Color Codex →
